Netflix Vancouver is seeking an early-career CG Experimental Artist to join a pioneering team developing animated shorts using GenAI-native production pipelines. You'll support experienced artists to create feature-quality content in a creator-led environment, building new workflows and bringing shots to life.

This role suits recent graduates eager to break into the space, with exposure to ComfyUI and traditional CG tools, and a collaborative environment that blends AI with classic animation

Qualifications

• Experience with ComfyUI and traditional CG 2D/3D DCCs (Photoshop, Maya, Houdini, Harmony, Blender).
• Portfolio showing storytelling, animation assets, and AI-assisted workflows.
• Strong collaboration and communication in a team-based, experimental pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Support a CG and GenAI team to develop content for animated shorts and specials.
• Contribute to asset creation and shot-ready assets using generative and traditional tools.
• Help build datasets to support gen AI models and workflows.
• Test and evaluate new GenAI tools and integrate them into pipelines.
