Job summary

A.T.L.A.S. Aéronautik inc., a long-standing Quebec aerospace manufacturer, is seeking an evening shift gear cutter / fitter to join its precision team and support growth.

You will perform CNC lathe operations with complex setups, read blueprints, analyze tooling and clamping methods, ensure part conformity to AS9100, and maintain documentation. Schedule: Mon–Thu 3:30 PM–1:30 AM; salary: $28.03–$36.55 per hour; $2.50/hour premium.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints to apply the best solution.
• Analyze and resolve technical issues related to clamping methods, tool paths, and programming.
• Work in compliance with AS9100 quality standards.

Responsibilities

To support this growth and optimize our manufacturing operations, A.T.L.A.S. Aéronautik inc. is looking for an evening shift gear cutter / fitter.

Tasks and responsibilities

• Perform precision assembly and machining operations on CNC lathes, executing complex setups with a high level of accuracy.
• Analyze and resolve technical issues related to clamping methods, tool paths, and programming.
• Read and interpret blueprints to apply the best solution according to the project.
• Verify the compliance of produced parts and complete required documentation.
• Work in compliance with current quality standards, including AS9100.

Working conditions

• Schedule from Monday to Thursday, from 3:30 PM to 1:30 AM
• Salary starting at $28.03 per hour up to $36.55
• $2.50/hour shift premium
• 3 weeks of paid vacation upon hiring
• 6 paid days during the holiday season
