Job summary

Certified Group is seeking a Scientist to lead high‑complexity analytical testing in support of an FDA proposal. The role requires hands‑on operation and troubleshooting of GC‑MS and LC‑qTOF systems, with a focus on NTA and unknowns identification. Strong documentation and QA practice are essential.

The candidate will contribute to method development, data interpretation, and collaborative efforts across regulatory consulting and testing services.

Qualifications

• PhD or MSc in Chemistry with 5+ years of experience.
• Expertise in GC-MS and/or LC-qTOF instrumentation.
• Experience with NTA for unknowns identification.
• Experience with Agilent systems and advanced chromatography techniques.

Responsibilities

• Prepare samples for analysis including forced degradation and stability testing.
• Independently operate, maintain, and troubleshoot analytical systems.
• Perform routine and advanced instrument maintenance and verification.
• Diagnose instrument performance issues and implement corrective actions.
• Serve as a technical resource for instrument performance and vendor interactions.
• Maintain accurate technical records and QA/QC metrics.
• Develop technical documentation and validation summaries.
