This role emphasizes safety, accurate cash handling, and friendly communication. You will monitor pumps, update price displays, restock the store, and assist with inventory while delivering warm, Canadian hospitality.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service or retail is required.
• Experience in petroleum or convenience stores is preferred.
• Strong work ethic with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to stand long periods and lift up to 30 pounds; accurate cash handling with POS.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, answer questions, aid with fueling.
• Clean fuel pumps, islands, restrooms, store; may pick up litter.
• Follow safety, environmental and industry standards for fuel dispensing.
• Respond to emergencies and follow safety protocols when handling fuel.
• Keep fuel sales records and monitor inventory levels.
• Update price displays and ensure accurate pricing at the pumps.
• Restock convenience store merchandise (snacks, drinks, etc.).
• Monitor inventory and notify management when supplies are low.
• Process payments from customers (cash, card, mobile).
• Operate fuel pumps and manage different fuel types; monitor underground tanks.
