Job summary
NES Fircroft is seeking an experienced Gas Plant Operator for a permanent role at the Karr Gas Plant, Alberta. The position offers a 7 days on / 7 days off rotation (12-hour days and nights) and involves coordinating with Operations, Maintenance and Engineering teams to ensure safe, reliable plant performance.

Qualifications
- Minimum 4th Class Power Engineering Certification required.
- 5+ years of gas plant operating experience preferred.
- Experience with gas processing environments and related systems a must.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems quickly and safely.
- Strong communication and coordination with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate and monitor gas processing equipment and plant systems.
- Perform start-ups, shutdowns, and process adjustments per procedures.
- Conduct routine inspections and coordinate maintenance activities.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain logs, production records, and regulatory documentation.
- Support safety and continuous improvement initiatives.
