Job summary

TC Energy in Canada is seeking a Student Intern to support field operations involved in the safe and reliable delivery of natural gas. You will work alongside experienced field technicians to learn equipment installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, field procedures and safety practices.

You will gain hands-on experience, participate in site visits and project work, and develop practical technical and problem-solving skills while collaborating with professionals across North America.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited Engineering or Engineering Technologist degree program
• Completion of at least one academic term prior to the start of the work term in May 2027
• Returning to full-time studies immediately following the work term

Responsibilities

• Work in a team environment to support the safe delivery of natural gas
• Assist experienced field technicians with installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment and systems
• Gain hands-on experience using tools and equipment and following field procedures
• Learn and apply safety protocols and procedures for field work
• Participate in site visits, inspections and project work under supervision
• Develop technical and problem-solving skills applicable to field technician work
• Support technical troubleshooting and corrective repairs in the field
