Enbridge Gas seeks a Gas Controller to join the Chatham Gas control team in Ontario. The role is responsible for safe, reliable operations of natural gas storage, transmission, and distribution using real-time SCADA systems.

You will monitor pressures, flows, and system operations, respond to emergencies, and coordinate with interconnecting centers, field personnel, and scheduling groups. A technical diploma or university degree and relevant control room experience are required.

Qualifications

• College diploma in a technical field or university degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 1-year direct experience as a Control Room Operator OR 2+ years in control rooms/operations, field ops, or industrial controls (natural gas).
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and team skills.

Responsabilités

• Monitor and control gas storage, transmission and distribution through a real-time SCADA system.
• Manage system capacities and contractual obligations via hydraulic evaluations and monitoring.
• Respond to abnormal and emergency conditions and participate in emergency processes.
• Build and maintain relationships with interconnecting centres, field personnel, customers, and scheduling groups.
• Forecast and adjust market supply requirements.
• Perform periodic project work to support the Control Centre.
