South Country Co-op is seeking a friendly Gas Bar Attendant for the Taber East Gas Bar in Taber, AB. You will greet customers, process payments at the register, stock displays, and help with propane filling while upholding safety standards.

Qualificações

• Minimum 16 years of age.
• Physically able to stand for extended periods and lift 20–30 lbs (up to 50 lbs occasionally).
• Ability to obtain certification in safe handling of propane tanks.
• Work in various weather conditions.
• Basic computer, calculator, and POS skills.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsabilidades

• Greet and assist customers at pumps, car wash, and propane station.
• Operate computerized cash registers and process payments accurately.
• Stock inventory and maintain product displays.
• Handle and fill propane tanks safely according to standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of the Gas Bar, pumps, and stations.
• Ensure the gas bar is clean, safe, and organized inside and out.
• Follow safety guidelines and company policies.
• Deliver excellent customer service and promote merchandise.
• Educate customers on South Country Co-op membership benefits.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Summary:

South Country Co-op is seeking a friendly and customer-focused Gas Bar Attendant to join our team at the Taber East Gas Bar located in Taber, AB. If you’re passionate about providing exceptional customer experiences, we’d love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers at the pumps, car wash, and propane station


• Operate computerized cash registers and process payments accurately


• Stock inventory, organize merchandise, and maintain product displays


• Perform safe handling and filling of propane tanks in accordance with safety standards


• Maintain cleanliness of the Gas Bar, fuel pumps, car wash, and propane station


• Ensure the gas bar is clean, safe, and organized both inside and outside


• Follow safety guidelines and uphold company policies


• Deliver excellent customer service by assisting customers, promoting merchandise, and ensure customer needs, preferences, and expectations are met


• Educate customers on the benefits of membership in South Country Co-op


• Other duties as assigned
