Job summary

Wild Rose Co-op in Camrose, Alberta, is hiring a full-time Gas Bar Attendant. The role involves delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and well-merchandised department, servicing vehicles, filling propane bottles, and handling inventory with attention to safety and government regulations.

You will report to the Assistant Gas Bar Manager and work a variable schedule including days, evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service is an asset.
• Understanding of Wild Rose Co-op values: Teamwork, People, Excellence, Community.
• Quality communication skills.
• Ability to work days, evenings and weekends on a rotational basis.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with an exceptional level of customer service.
• Maintain a clean, fresh and well merchandised department.
• Service vehicles, fill propane bottles, attend to car wash, operate the point of sale terminal.
• Stock inventory and conduct inventory counts.
• Ensure compliance with government standards and regulations; complete in-house training and certifications via e-learning.
• Monitor for unauthorized removal of merchandise and equipment.
• Uphold store standards for quality and condition of merchandise.
• Follow cleaning and maintenance schedules.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures and look out for the safety of others.
• Adhere to Wild Rose Co-op policies and procedures.

Whatyou’lldo:

The successful candidate will be responsible for thefollowing (and otherdutiesasrequired):

• Providing customerswithexceptionallevelofcustomer service

• Provideaneat,clean,freshandwellmerchandised department

• Servicingvehicle(s),fillingpropanebottles,attendingto car wash, operation of the point of sale terminal

• Alldutiesassociatedwithinventorystockingandtaking inventorycounts

• Compliance with government standards and regulations that apply to the Gas Bar Complete up-to-date in-house training and certifications via e-learning courses

• Alertfortheunauthorizedremovalofmerchandiseand equipment

• Ensure the quality and condition of all merchandise meet the store’s standards

Follow all cleaning and maintenance schedules

Compliance with all Safety policies and procedures and look out for the safety of others

Adhere to all Wild Rose Co-op policies and procedures
