Position: Class 5 Driver with Air Brakes

Location: Based in St John's, Newfoundland and surrounding areas

Shift: Tuesday-Friday, 8am-5pm

Compensation: $19 - $20 per hour

Job Summary:

As a Class 5 Driver, you will play a crucial role in our transportation operations, responsible for the safe and timely delivery of freight to our clients. Your primary duties will include operating commercial vehicles with air brakes, adhering to transportation regulations, and ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate commercial vehicles with a Class 5 license, including those equipped with air brakes.
• Deliver freight to customers within designated service areas.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and comply with all transportation regulations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the safety and roadworthiness of the equipment.
• Assist with loading and unloading of cargo as needed.

Qualifications:

• Valid Class 5 driver's license with air brakes certification.
• Minimum 2 years of experience operating commercial vehicles.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Working Conditions:
