Job summary

Dynamic Funds, a subsidiary of Scotiabank, is seeking a Sales Associate in Montreal, QC. The role focuses on processing expense reports, maintaining contracts, and verifying details in CRM.

You will support the Sales Team, coordinate with Compliance, and work toward an Inside Sales role within a couple of years. The candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Finance/Business Administration, and 1 year in financial services, with CSC/IFIC certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Charge expenses to correct G/L codes and cost centers by analyzing receipts and invoices; record entries.
• Verify that spending is compliant with Dynamic Sales Policies and Procedures.
• Solicit contracts from vendors on behalf of Dynamic Sales.
• Create and manage a contracts strategy; work with Legal for standard approvals.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Product Management, Marketing and Mail Distribution to coordinate activities.

As a Sales Associate with Dynamic, your primary responsibilities will involve processing expense reports, maintaining business contracts and verifying details in CRM.

The Sales Associate supports the Sales Team by completing expense reports in a timely manner, working closely with Compliance to ensure proper due diligence is maintained on events and works with vendors to coordinate completion of contracts.

Is this role right for you? In this role you will:

• Completing expense reports for Wholesalers by collecting and scanning receipts, inputting any necessary information into the CRM and initiating the (workflow) approval process;
• Charges expenses to correct G/L codes and cost centers by analyzing receipts and invoices; recording entries;
• Protects organization's value by verifying Dynamic Sales Policies and Procedures spending limits are properly maintained;
• Solicits contracts from vendors on behalf of Dynamic Sales:
• Creates and manages a contracts strategy;
• Works closely with Legal to ensure contracts are standardized and approved;
• Works closely with other Sales Associates to assist in in the overflow of work whenever necessary;
• Working closely with other internal partners, including Compliance, Product Management, Marketing and Mail Distribution to coordinate activities when necessary;
• Adapt to changing internal policies initiated by shifting trends within our industry;
• A strong sales acumen to learn, grow and develop within the team as an Inside Sales candidate within 2 years.

Education, Professional Experience, Certifications and Skills required:

• Minimum Bachelors degree in a field such as Commerce, Finance, Business Administration;
• CSC or IFIC certification preferable.
• Minimum 1 year of experience within the Financial Services Industry.
• Attention to Detail, Thoroughness, Organization, Analyzing Information , Accounting, PC Proficiency, Data Entry Skills, General Math Skills

In addition to French, the successful candidate must also have sufficient knowledge of English, as the work involves interacting and collaborating regularly with groups and individuals based in Toronto, as well as constantly interacting with other people, including clients, who speak English, locally and elsewhere.
