Job summary

The Brick in Nanaimo, BC is seeking a Furniture & Appliance 5 Ton Delivery Driver to join our fleet. The role involves delivering and installing products with a focus on customer service, route planning, and accurate invoicing. A Class 5 license and successful background check are required.

Salary ranges from $50,000 to $70,000 annually, with benefits including health, dental, and paramedical services. Shift flexibility, including evenings and weekends, is expected.

Qualifications

• Delivery experience is an asset.
• Valid driver’s license (Class 5) required; graduation is not sufficient.
• Current Driver’s Abstract.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy merchandise exceeding 50 lbs regularly.
• Customer service oriented with strong organization and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Route and schedule deliveries.
• Inspect and load product.
• Perform pre-trip vehicle inspection.
• Lift and carry products into customers’ homes with no damages and assemble as required.
• Record mileage, fuel costs, and any issues encountered.
• Complete driver check‑in, including accounting of merchandise and invoicing.
