Job summary

RONA is looking for a customer-focused sales team member in Halifax to greet customers, assess needs, and provide expert product advice. You will showcase merchandise, demonstrate features, and recommend complementary items to drive sales.

You will stay informed on new products, promotions, and store policies, contributing to merchandising and achieving targets while delivering an exceptional shopping experience in a community-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and ensure an excellent customer experience
• Assess customer needs and provide well informed and specialized advice about products
• Present merchandise (including through demos) and recommend complementary items
• Contribute to merchandising of products in your department (displays, signage)
• Stay informed of new products and their technical applications
• Contribute to achieving sales targets
• Stay informed of promotions and flyers
• Work in accordance with store policies on loss prevention and health and safety
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly
