Job summary

Pet Valu is seeking a Sales Associate at our Brooklin, Ontario location. You will help Pet Parents choose the right nutrition and pet care products, work with a team of Pet Experts, and deliver friendly customer service daily.

Responsibilities include cashiering, stocking, light merchandising, and store upkeep. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, attend weekends/evenings, and have reliable transportation are required. Staff discounts and training are offered.

Qualifications

• Previous retail or customer service experience.
• Working knowledge of POS system.
• Outgoing and friendly personality with strong customer service skills.
• Ability to lift 50lbs repetitively.
• Ability to work as scheduled to meet attendance requirements, which may include weekends and evenings.
• Reliable means of transportation to and from the store.

Responsibilities

• Cashier and customer sales.
• Preparing merchandise orders, banking and other miscellaneous paperwork.
• Placing small items into stock in the sales area.
• Sweeping, dusting and other general store maintenance functions.
• Assist in unloading delivery vehicles and stocking items up to 50 lbs.

What You Do

• Cashier and customer sales
