Pet Valu in Tillsonburg, Ontario is seeking a Pet Groomer with at least 1 year of professional experience to take over an established clientele. The position offers 35–40 hours per week, including Saturdays, with a commission-based pay structure (65% to groomer, 35% to the shop).

The role requires grooming dogs of various breeds, maintaining high care standards and building a loyal client base while using provided equipment and ensuring excellent service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year professional grooming experience.
• Proficient in bathing, drying, clipping, hand scissoring and basic pet health checks.
• Must have own insurance coverage and ability to manage clientele.

Steady grooming salon with existing clientele, looking for a Pet Groomer with minimum one year experience, Current Groomer is leaving the profession, so we are looking for someone to take over their clientele.

Start Date: Mid to Late August 2026.

Expected Hours: 35-40/week (Saturdays required)

What you will bring to our team:

• A minimum of 1 year professional grooming experience
• Professional grooming techniques for a variety of dog breeds.
• Grooming services, including bathing, drying, clipping, hand scissoring, medicated and general cleansing, parasite control baths, pedicures, medicated dips and ear cleansing, as requested for each pet
• Specialized grooming utilizing techniques which vary depending on type of hair, coat, breed and owner instructions
• Adaptability and customer focused
• Entrepreneurial drive and the ability to increase clientele.
• Groomer must also have their own Insurance coverage.
