Wage: $22.61/hour
Employment Type: Full Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM / 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Overtime: Employment Standards Act (ESA) after 40 hours

Responsibilities
  • Maintain a visible, professional, and alert security presence at all times.
  • Greet, assist, and direct visitors, patients, and staff while providing exceptional customer service.
  • Patrol hospital facilities (interior and exterior), responding to incidents, alarms, or emergencies as they arise.
  • Complete incident reports and maintain accurate security documentation.
  • Enforce hospital policies and procedures, including parking and smoking by-laws.
  • Support hospital operations through patient watches, access control, and key management.
  • Conduct monthly safety inspections and participate in security briefings as needed.
  • De-escalate conflicts and respond calmly and professionally in high-stress situations.
  • Work collaboratively with hospital personnel and law enforcement when required.
