Job summary

Neighbourly Pharmacy in Melfort, SK is seeking a full-time Front Store Clerk/Delivery Driver to join our team. You will greet customers, operate the cash register, stock shelves, and manage front-store tasks while coordinating medication deliveries across Melfort and nearby towns.

Daily duties include customer service, cash handling, merchandising, driving the company van, and ensuring safety and documentation for deliveries.

Qualifications

Accurate cash handling and strong customer service.
Ability to stand for extended periods and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Clear, courteous communication and strong product knowledge.
Experience in merchandising, retail, or cashiering is an asset.
Must possess a valid provincial driver's licence with a safe driving record in the past 3 years.
Driver’s abstract (dated within 30 days) required.
Criminal Record Check required.

Responsibilities

Provide warm, friendly customer service by greeting customers and handling inquiries.
Operate the cash register, stock shelves, and support front-store tasks.
Maintain store cleanliness and organization; assist with displays and merchandising.
Follow store policies on security, shoplifting, and lottery ticket handling.
Monitor cash levels, anticipate change needs, and request pickups as needed.
Develop product knowledge and stay informed about new items.
Assist in inventory maintenance and reordering processes.
Support seasonal displays and promotional setups.
Handle difficult customer situations with tact and escort complaints as needed.
Report customer feedback to the store manager.
Remain productive between customer interactions.
Complete miscellaneous duties as assigned by management.
