Job summary

The Beer Store seeks a Full-Time Field Service/Install Representative in Downtown Toronto to service draught systems and perform installations. You will carry out line cleaning, perform repairs, and maintain strong customer relationships with licensees and clients in the area.

Must have High School or GED, mechanical aptitude, and a willingness to work a flexible schedule, including occasional overnight or on-call. Competitive pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Must have completed High School and/or GED equivalent.
• Mechanical/Trade background is preferred but not required.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical systems and use hand tools.
• Willingness to work in Downtown Toronto and maintain schedules.

Responsibilities

• Carry out line cleaning and service in the assigned area and grow customer base.
• Troubleshoot and repair draught services issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Establish and maintain relationships with current and prospective customers.
• Build and install beverage systems using knowledge of design and installation techniques.
• Maintain route schedule and ensure work orders are up to date.
• Visit new licensee customers and existing establishments not yet subscribed to services.
• Complete invoicing promptly adhering to company policy.
• Maintain inventory levels and reconcile discrepancies.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

We work with Brewers and Licensees towards the common goal of promoting the highest quality draught beer experience through industry leading installation, global partnerships, and an established US and Canadian dealer network. We offer nationwide installation, system cleaning and service, and support and offer Canada’s premier Keg repair service.

The Role

We are currently searching for a Field Service/Install Rep reporting to the Field Supervisor. This vacancy is a Full-Time Permanent opportunity. This position will be servicing the area of Downtown Toronto.

What You'll Be Doing

• Carry out line cleaning and service in assigned geographic area. Maintain and grow, line cleaning customer base provide on demand service as required
• Troubleshoot and repair draught services problems and issues to ensure customer satisfaction. Plan and organize efficient schedule to maximize return on investment.
• Establish, develop, and maintain business relationships with current and prospective customers in the assigned territory
• Use knowledge of systems design and installation technics to build and install beverage systems
• Maintain route schedule by means of record keeping and ensuring work orders are up to date
• Visits to new licensee customers and/or existing establishments who currently do not subscribe to our services
• Complete all invoicing in a timely manner adhering to company policy
• Maintain sufficient inventory levels for service area. Ensure inventory accuracy reconciliation
• Perform other related duties and projects as assigned

Who You Are - Your Knowledge, Skills & Experience

Education

• Must have completed High School and/or GED equivalent

Experience

• Mechanical/Trade background is preferred, but not required

Skills

• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical systems
• Ability to use various hand tools, working from heights (ladders, lifts), and physically fit and capable to lift heavy materials (75lbs)
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, taking initiative and following through on work assignments
• Demonstrated interpersonal and time management skills
• Basic accounting knowledge with good computer skills (Microsoft office, outlook, Windows and Excel)
• Able to work a flexible schedule with occasional overnight, on-call and overtime as needed
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation

The hiring range for this position is $20.77 - $31.15 CAD per hour. The final agreed upon salary may vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience.
