Job summary

Northern Lights Public Schools in Ardmore invites applications for a full-time Educational Assistant (1.0 FTE) commencing with the 2026-2027 school year. Qualifications

Post-secondary training and/or experience as an Educational Assistant.
Knowledge and experience with behavioural strategies.
Experience working one-on-one and/or in a group setting.
Knowledge of documentation procedures and proficiency with computers.
Knowledge and experience in alternate communications strategies.
Experience assisting students with self-help and personal care needs.
Familiarity with strategies to address different learning styles and IPPs.

Responsibilities

Assist with student educational program needs including social skills and behaviour skills.
Support self-help and personal care needs in a team environment.
Collaborate with staff to implement Individual Program Plans.
