Job summary

Qualifications
- One year of recent related experience or equivalent in a social service setting.
- Successful completion of a criminal record check.
- Union membership is required.
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming crisis calls and provide support.
- Assess risk and create safety plans for program participants.
- Ensure safety and comfort of program participants and their children.
- Manage household tasks and arrange transportation.
- Attend meetings/training and liaise with other agencies.
Skills
Knowledge of domestic abuse and community resources
Ability to provide feminist-centered support
Capacity for independent and collaborative work
Skill in crisis assistance with non-judgmental services
Record maintenance and program evaluation
Education
Diploma in human/social service field
