Qualifications

• 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in hairstyling.

Responsibilities

• Analyze hair and scalp condition.
• Book appointments.
• Cut and trim hair according to client's instructions or preferences.
• Shampoo customers' hair.
• Apply bleach, tints, dyes or rinses to colour, frost or streak hair.
• Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm and style hair.
• Suggest hair styles compatible with client's physical features and preferences.
• Perform receptionist duties.
• Maintain and order supplies.

Skills

Hair styling techniques: Blow drying, Iron waving/curling, Permanents, Twisting, Pin curls

Hair colouring techniques: Bleach, Dyes/tints, Streaking/highlights
