Job summary

Walmart Canada in Charlottetown, PEI is seeking a Produce Stocker to keep the produce area organized, ensure freshness, and provide friendly service.

Position Summary

What You’ll Do
  • Keep the Produce Area Organized and Ready – Keeps the produce department clean, organized, and neatly zoned so it is ready for customers at all times.
  • Check Product Quality and Freshness – Rotates products regularly and removes expired items to ensure freshness and quality.
  • Ensure Accurate Pricing and Signing – Makes sure all produce is correctly priced and signed, following proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups and markdowns, labels, and signage.
  • Follow Food Safety and Cold Chain Standards – Follows food safety, sanitation, and cold chain procedures, including temperature checks, thermometer use, proper food handling, and compliance with sell by and expiration dates.
  • Stock Merchandise and Set Displays – Stocks and downstocks merchandise as needed, applies product protection when required, and sets modulars, including flex modulars and shelf caps, to keep the department fully stocked.
  • Follow Health and Safety Guidelines – Follows all Health and Safety policies to help maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Flexibility (Availability/Work Schedule)
  • Be open to working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs. Your adaptability helps ensure the store runs smoothly and customers receive consistent, high-quality service.

  • Manages overnight hours effectively and planning accordingly to stay energized and focused.
  • Effectively manages work hours and plans ahead to maintain energy and focus throughout the shift.
  • Handles a fast‑paced workload with efficiency, ensuring large volumes of restocking and recovery are completed accurately and on time.
Physical Demands
  • Performs physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, bending, and lifting inventory, equipment, or supplies weighing up to 20 lbs., and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
  • Performs repetitive tasks such as stocking, zoning, and organizing products with attention to detail and consistency to uphold store standards.
