Job summary

Save-On-Foods in Edmonton is hiring a Full-Time Bakery Clerk at our Calgary Trail location. You will operate a cash register, bag groceries, share product knowledge, and keep the bakery well stocked and presented.

You will help ensure clean, safe, and sanitary conditions, handle customer inquiries, and deliver a positive customer experience with a friendly, can-do attitude.

Qualifications

• Retail customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to operate a cash register and handle money.
• Willingness to go the extra mile.
• Retail experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate a cash register and bag groceries to customers.
• Share product knowledge and help customers find items.
• Stock and present bakery products; keep area clean and tidy.
• Assist with upkeep of a safe, sanitary work environment.

We are hiring for a Full-Time Bakery Clerk at our Calgary Trail location in Edmonton, AB.

Must have open full-time availability.

You will be responsible for:

• Going the Extra Mile for our customers and fellow team members
• Operating a cash register and bagging groceries
• Sharing product knowledge with customers
• Ensuring the department is well stocked and presented
• Ensuring only the freshest products are displayed
• Handling customer service inquiries and providing a positive customer experience
• Cleaning equipment and work area to ensure a safe, and sanitary work environment
• Using a variety of equipment, including knives
