Job summary

A regional healthcare facility in Calgary is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) I to manage the processing and analysis of diagnostic samples. Candidates must have completed an accredited MLT program and be eligible for registration with the CMLTA. Preferred qualifications include recent Anatomic Pathology experience. This full-time position offers a salary range from $35.45 to $46.69 per hour.

Qualifications

• Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Alberta (CMLTA).
• Able to work with exposure to chemicals and gloves.
• Experience with embedding and microtomy.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for daily processing, testing, results analysis and reporting of diagnostic samples.
• Perform a variety of routine and specialized procedures in the laboratory.

Education
