PLEA Community Services is seeking a Regular Full-Time Adult Support Worker for our Adult Services team based in Abbotsford, BC. The role supports adults with addiction, disability, and mental health needs, developing activity plans to improve health, wellness and quality of life.

Hours are Sunday to Thursday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (37.5 hours weekly). BCGEU membership is required and travel within the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley may be involved.

Competenze

• Bachelor of Arts in the social sciences or human services or related discipline.
• One year of recent experience with adults who have complex personal, social and healthcare needs.
• BCGEU membership may be required.

Mansioni

• Assist the Services Coordinator and Program Manager in meeting program objectives and develop plans/goals for participants.
• Provide supervision and support to help participants achieve individual goals and engage in community activities.
• Implement interventions addressing complex personal, social and healthcare needs and help access community resources.
