Job summary

Ema Unlimited is hiring a skilled full-stack web engineer to design and implement engaging user interfaces for enterprise web apps. You will own UI/UX from wireframes to high-fidelity prototypes and ensure robust API integration with React and gRPC.

You will contribute to back-end services using Node.js or Python, build scalable full-stack apps, and optimize for performance, accessibility, and SEO. Collaboration with PMs and designers is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 4+ years of professional experience in full-stack development, focusing on front-end engineering and API integration.
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with extensive React experience.
• Experience with gRPC for client-server communication and familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, XML, and OAuth.
• Solid understanding of back-end technologies such as Node.js or Python, and experience with server-side frameworks like FastAPI or Express.
• Familiarity with Git and build/deploy platforms such as Vercel.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a focus on UX.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for independent and team work.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement exceptional user interfaces for web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Collaborate with product managers and UX designers to gather requirements, own the user experience, create wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes.
• Develop and maintain API integrations, ensuring seamless front-end/back-end communication using React and gRPC.
• Contribute to back-end development with a focus on robust APIs and server communication using Node.js or Python.
• Build, test, and deploy full-stack web applications using React and gRPC with attention to performance and scalability.
• Optimize apps for performance, accessibility, and SEO best practices.
• Troubleshoot UI and back-end issues to ensure a consistent user experience across devices.
• Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code and deploy/debug via platforms like Vercel.
