We’re looking for a great Full Stack Software Specialist who is proficient with C#, backend technologies and React.js. The role’s primary focus will be on developing and supporting user interface components and back‑end integrations between a digital experience platform and the various systems that store and support the data, along with other applications as required. You will ensure that these components and integrations are resilient, robust and easy to maintain. You will coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. Commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is critical for success.

Major Responsibilities
  • Developing new user-facing features for public facing website and other applicable projects
  • Designing, developing and supporting back‑end integrations
  • Building reusable components and front‑end libraries for future use
  • Building resilient integrations that communicate across multiple systems
  • Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code
  • Ensure all aspects of the technical stack have oversight and knowledge is shared with internal teams
  • Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web‑capable devices and browsers
  • Provide open and clear communication across internal teams to ensure a unified experience for end users and stakeholders
  • Understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
  • Ensure integrity of Data through best practice security patterns and data management.
  • Working within complex business rules and across multiple environment constraints
Education Required
  • Post‑secondary degree or diploma with a Computer Science/technical designation
Qualifications & Experience
  • 5+ Years experience with hands on software development experience
  • Experience with Sitecore XM Cloud, Vercel or Microsoft Entra ID is a major asset
  • Thorough understanding of and solid experience using JavaScript, HTML and SCSS
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, C#, ASP.NET and .NET Core
  • Experience using RESTful APIs
  • Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git
  • Experience working with a CMS platform
  • Working knowledge of React.js and Next.js is preferred, but not required
  • Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
  • Experience with Azure DevOps or similar issue tracking software
  • Familiarity with modern front‑end build pipelines and tools
  • Familiarity with modern development security practices
  • Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements

Salary

Programmer Analyst, Level C (Current CUPE 2025 rates)

$103,038.57 - $109,485.92 - $115,933.27 - $122,360.78 - $128,808.13

Location

This role will be part of our hybrid (home and office) workforce with office workspace located at ENMAX Place (141 - 50th Avenue SE, Calgary, AB). You will work from home on Mondays and Fridays and in the office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
