Full-Stack Software Developer Specialist - SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP)

Important:

  • This is a hybrid role based out of SAP Montreal office, working in-office with the team 3 days per week.
  • Candidates must be legally entitled to work in Canada at the time of application. This position is not eligible for employer-sponsored work authorization (e.g., LMIA or other immigration support).
Responsibilities
  • As a Full-Stack Software Developer, you will build intuitive, high-performance web experiences, extend IBP for Inventory with autonomous and assistive capabilities, and deliver robust backend services, APIs, and data models. You will enhance visualization tools to provide better insights into the drivers of the supply chain as well as clarifying the optimization decisions.
  • Turn complex inventory math into clear, actionable UX and insight-to-action flows.
  • Summarize results, prioritize exceptions, and recommend next steps.
  • Introduce autonomous monitoring of key KPIs, run safe experiments, and propose actions.
  • Improve performance at scale.

The result for our customers will be the improvement of their service levels, better inventory allocation, and boost planner productivity and trust.

What you bring

As a Full-Stack Software Developer Specialist in the IBP for Inventory team, we are looking for candidates with the following skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related Engineering field
  • 3-5 years software development experience
  • Good understanding and working experience using TDD
  • Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming and its principles
  • JQuery, dojo or similar UI frameworks - Web services (REST, OData), Web Application Architectures and Technologies
  • Good understanding of Relational Databases, querying a Database, and experience using a Database Scripting Language (HANA SQL Script is a plus)
  • Good communication skills, including written technical documentation using UML and architecture diagrams
  • Ability to work well in an agile SCRUM team using CI/CD

The following qualifications are desirable, but not required:

  • Jasmine, Selenium or other UI unit testing frameworks is a plus
  • ABAP and OOP in ABAP
  • Ability to analyze SQL queries for performance tuning

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. The targeted combined range for this position is 92200 - 156800 CAD. The actual amount to be offered will be within that range, dependent upon factors such as education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, and performance. Any variable incentive is a separate target amount and payout depends on company and personal performance.
