Job description

Globalfaces Direct is looking for a Full-Stack Product Developer to build and maintain the web portals and mobile applications our users depend on, and to own the pipelines, tests, and monitoring that carry that work safely into production.

This role carries end-to-end responsibility for product delivery across our React and TypeScript web portals, our React Native mobile application, and the Node.js services and data behind them. You will take features from clarified requirements through to release, without handing work between specialists or waiting on someone else to cut a build. This is a small team, so breadth matters more here than depth in any single layer - you'll work closely with our technology leads to balance day-to-day feature delivery with longer-term improvements to release speed, test coverage, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain features across our React/TypeScript web portals and React Native app, maximizing reuse between the two.
  • Own a defined feature set end to end, from clarified requirements through production release, applying sound UX judgment along the way.
  • Partner with product stakeholders to clarify requirements up front and raise gaps and trade-offs early.
  • Design and maintain the Node.js APIs and services behind our products, including SQL that performs at production scale.
  • Own the reliability of internal and third-party integrations, with proper error handling, validation, and security controls.
Release, Deployment & Automation
  • Own the release process — CI/CD pipelines, release checklists, and App Store / Google Play submissions.
  • Automate repeatable manual steps and maintain clean version control across codebases with different release cadences.
  • Work comfortably in our cloud deployment environment, including deploys, environments, and logs.
Quality, Testing & Monitoring
  • Add automated testing to the areas you own, especially critical user flows, and instrument features so failures are caught before users find them.
  • Triage and resolve crashes and production issues across the stack, and monitor mobile crash and performance data on every release.
AI-Assisted Development & Documentation
  • Use AI coding tools productively while retaining full personal responsibility for architecture, security, and code quality.
  • Document key architectural decisions and dependencies so another developer can maintain the work.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE
Your Experience and Training:
  • 3-5 years of experience building and shipping production software.
  • Cross-platform mobile experience, ideally React Native, including at least one application shipped to the App Store or Google Play and supported afterwards.
  • Experience working in a codebase where automated testing is expected, with disciplined Git and release practices.
