Job summary

Morgan Stanley in Montreal is seeking a Full Stack – Java Application Developer to drive the design and delivery of next-generation risk analytics for the CVA Technology team. You will work with traders, quants, and technology professionals to build scalable distributed systems and robust services.

The role requires 5+ years in Core Java/Scala with strong multithreading, SQL experience, and proficiency in Python/Unix scripting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Core Java/Scala with strong multithreading experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience in architecting, building, and maintaining scalable distributed systems.
• Strong software engineering, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with Traders, Quants, and Technology teams.
• Experience with RDBMS and SQL is a plus.
• Familiarity with Python, Perl, Unix, and K-Shell scripting is preferred.
• Knowledge of OTC derivatives is beneficial.
