Job summary

CoVet, Inc. is seeking a strong Full-Stack Developer with cross-platform mobile, backend, and cloud infrastructure experience. You will contribute across the stack, building high-quality mobile experiences and robust backend services, APIs, and cloud integrations.

Flutter is preferred, with React Native also valued. You will design, develop, and maintain Google Cloud Platform and Firebase infrastructure and collaborate across teams to deliver scalable, reliable software.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience across mobile, full-stack, or product engineering roles.
• Strong experience building cross-platform or hybrid mobile applications.
• Flutter is ideal; React Native or similar frameworks are valuable.
• Strong full-stack fundamentals across UI, APIs, backend, and data models.
• Backend/API development experience with Node.js or similar.
• Experience with serverless architectures such as Cloud Functions or AWS Lambda.
• GCP, Firebase, and Firestore familiarity is advantageous.
• RESTful API design, authentication patterns, and integrations.
• Database design, indexing strategies, and performance optimization.
• Proficiency with Git and modern development workflows.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills; professional English.
• Good judgment using AI tools to design and document solutions.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain mobile features, primarily using Flutter.
• Contribute across the full stack: mobile, frontend, backend, APIs, cloud infra.
• Design and maintain backend on Google Cloud Platform and Firebase.
• Develop server-side logic with Node.js in a serverless setup.
• Model and optimize Firestore databases for performance and reliability.
• Create and maintain RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
• Collaborate with developers, QA, product, and design to ship features end-to-end.
• Define scalable, pragmatic technical solutions with product teams.
• Coordinate implementations across mobile, frontend, backend, and QA.
• Support deployments and ensure smooth delivery across environments.
• Monitor, debug, and improve system reliability and observability.
