Job summary

The Work

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Java, REST APIs, and microservices.
• Build and enhance responsive, modern front-end applications using Angular and React.
• Develop cloud-native solutions and infrastructure using Google Cloud Platform, leveraging modern cloud services, scalable architecture patterns, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Support solution design, technical documentation, code reviews, and delivery planning across front-end and back-end workstreams.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, supporting automated testing, deployment, and release processes.
• Apply secure coding practices, performance optimization, and quality engineering principles across the software development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with architects, managers, product owners, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into high-quality technical solutions.
• Provide technical guidance to team members, troubleshoot complex issues, and contribute to Agile delivery ceremonies and sprint execution.
• Ability to work shifts/on-call; comfort working on-site in high-security environments.
• Travel may be required based on client demand. Accenture promotes a client-centric, flexible work environment.

What You’ll Need

• Minimum 4 years of hands-on software engineering experience developing end-to-end system features across both user experience and backend code.
• Experience developing full stack applications using Java, REST APIs, microservices, Angular, and React.
• Experience building scalable front-end and back-end components and delivering cloud-first, Agile solutions using Google Cloud Platform, IaC, and cloud-native development.
• Master proficiency in Application Design, with experience delivering scalable, maintainable software solutions.
• Experience with GitHub Actions, DevOps, automated testing, release management, SQA, and ALM.
• Experience solving complex technical challenges, contributing to key decisions, collaborating across teams, and mentoring team members.
• Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in a related field.
• Must be open to working from the office three times per week.
• Eligibility for Reliability Security Clearance.

Bonus Points If You Have

• Eligible for Top Secret Security Clearance or currently holds Top Secret Security Clearance status.
• Google Cloud Platform certification or hands-on experience supporting GCP-based modernization programs.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, containerized deployments, and platform engineering practices.
• Experience with event-driven architectures, distributed systems, and scalable integration patterns.
• Experience supporting public sector, government, or regulated industry clients.
• Experience mentoring junior developers or providing technical direction within Agile delivery teams.
