Job summary

US Mobile, Inc. is looking for a talented Full-Stack Software Engineer to scale our services, focusing on Postgres, WebSockets, Node.js, TypeScript, and React. You’ll own features from database schema to UI, and help evolve the platform for millions of devices.

You'll work in a fast-paced, startup-style environment, collaborate asynchronously, and mentor teammates. Experience with REST/OpenAPI, AWS/Kubernetes, and secure design will help you thrive.

Qualifications

• Experience owning a feature from database to UI.
• Strong knowledge of Node.js and TypeScript.
• Solid React experience with high-performance SPAs.
• Relational data modeling and SQL (Postgres preferred).
• Familiarity with real-time systems (WebSockets, pub/sub).
• Experience with queues (SQS, RabbitMQ, Kafka).
• AWS and container deployments (Kubernetes, Terraform).
• Good API design instincts and secure coding practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy new features for the product.
• Advise on technologies and propose solutions to the team.
• Tackle legacy architecture and digital transformation projects.
• Expand the Node services suite of applications.
• Document new processes and workflows clearly.
• Operate in a startup environment with multiple responsibilities.
• Help build tools to ensure high-quality end-user experiences.
• Scale systems to tens of millions of customers and devices.
