Full-Stack Engineer — End-to-End Production Ownership

Job summary

Onni Capital is seeking an Intermediate Software Engineer to build and ship production software across the stack in Vancouver. You will work on real operators, tenants, and internal teams, owning problems end to end from design to deployment.

Emphasis on modern TS/React, Next.js, Python backends, and AI tooling within a fast-moving team. You will contribute to architecture, CI/CD, monitoring, and security, while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in modern TypeScript and React ecosystem, including Next.js and REST APIs.
• Experience with relational databases such as Postgres; familiarity with Supabase is a plus.
• Proficiency in Python for backend services and AI tooling (FastAPI or similar).
• Hands-on DevOps experience: CI/CD, Docker, and containerisation; production-grade code.
• Experience integrating AI agents and tools (Claude, OpenAI) in production; prompt engineering basics.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship production features across the stack with semi-independent ownership.
• Contribute to code architecture, API design, and testing practices.
• Hardening prototypes into production systems and deploying via CI/CD pipelines.
• Maintain environment management, monitoring, and incident response for services.
• Document architecture and decisions to enable repeatable success.
