Job summary

Source Code is seeking 2 full-time, full-stack software developers in Toronto to design, build, and expand data pipelines and web services. You will translate complex specs into working applications, with emphasis on reusable modules and API integration.

The role requires strong React and front-end architecture skills, plus experience with REST/SOAP, DevOps tools, and Agile/Scrum processes. Knowledge of AODA and potential AEM work is a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with React.
• High-level knowledge of front-end interfaces.
• Demonstrated ability to create self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components that build on the elements and modules of core AngularJS.
• Experience/knowledge of REST and SOAP web services.
• Experience/knowledge of Azure DevOps, JIRA, agile/scrum
• Experience with application architecture, front-end & back-end integration, API development

• Nice to have: Development/management experience with AEM (Adobe Experience Manager)

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and expand data pipelines by performing extraction, transformation, and loading activities.
• Translate technical systems specifications into working, tested applications, including detailed programming specs, coding, and unit tests.
• Resolve and troubleshoot technical problems during use and operation of software packages, including implementation, conversion and migrations.
• Collaborate with IT professionals throughout the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Design, code, test, debug and document applications.
• Ensure the entire stack is designed and built for speed and scalability.
• Build REST API services and integrate front-end UI with APIs.
• Support post-implementation issues.
