Job summary

Vancouver Island Health Authority seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse, Full Scope for multi-site coverage. You will perform assessments, plan care, and deliver nursing procedures within a full scope of practice as outlined by the BC College of Nurses and Midwives in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Registration with the BC CNMs is required. Perinatal, MHSU, and hip/knee clinic experience are noted, with rotating shifts and a bi-weekly 47.67 hours schedule.

Qualifications

• Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing LPN registrant.
• Perinatal positions require perinatal education + breastfeeding; or 1 year recent acute perinatal exp.
• MHSU positions require additional education per BCCNM for MH/SA disorders.
• Hip and Knee Clinic requires two years recent related surgical/preadmission clinic exp.

Responsibilities

• Perform assessments, plan and provide personal care.
