The QA Coordinator must be competent in the technical knowledge of all tests conducted in the Microbiology Lab. They must be able to organize their activities and multitask. This position requires an individual to analyze and interpret a wide variety of microbiological information generated by the Microbiology Lab with minimal supervision. A detailed knowledge of all plant processes (both operations and sanitation) and the pertinent microbiological considerations are a must.
Individuals in this position must be self-starters and be able to initiate responses and propose solutions to non-compliant situations.
Strong understanding of quality programs (i.e. audits selecting process management etc.) is essential.
Must have good working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and HACCP programs in order to detect and resolve non-compliance issues / situations related with Microbiology.
