  • The candidate will be responsible for cutting crops.
  • The candidate will be responsible for dividing freshly harvested produce into marketable and non-marketable lots.
  • The candidate will be responsible for grading vegetables and fruits into different grades according to the size, shape, colour, and volume in order to fetch a high price in the market.
  • The candidate must harvest vegetables by hand.
  • The candidate must pack fruits and vegetables.
  • The candidate must pick row and orchard crops.
  • The candidate must plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops.
  • The candidate must sort fruits and vegetables.
  • The candidate must tie and secure plants.
  • The candidate must perform the weeding task.
  • The candidate must clean the work area.
  • The candidate must harvest crops.
  • The candidate must load, unload, and transfer crates, supplies, farm produce, livestock, and poultry.
  • The candidate must operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
  • The candidate must examine the product’s quality and readiness for the market.
Job Requirements
  • The candidate should be fluent in the English language.
  • There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
  • A candidate with experience is an asset.
  • Farm operations include corn farming, fruit and vegetable combination farming, other miscellaneous crop farming, and vegetable and melon farming (except potatoes).
  • The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
  • The candidate must work in all weather conditions.
