Job summary

Collabera in Montreal is seeking a Front-end Software Designer to craft interactive UI across WEB, iOS, Android and embedded HMI. You will design, develop, test and maintain user interfaces that meet product needs while aligning with performance and security requirements.

Applicants should have a diploma in computer science or software engineering, at least 2 years of relevant experience, and familiarity with ExtJS/Sencha, JQuery, AngularJS, HTML5/CSS, and cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Graduate diploma in computer sciences, software engineering or equivalent (framed from the ad).
• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role.
• Experience with ExtJS/Sencha, JQuery, and/or AngularJS.
• Experience with HTML5 ecosystem (including CSS).
• Experience in developing Cloud applications.
• Experience with AWS and/or Microsoft Azure.
• Scripting skills: bash, awk, sed, perl, Python, Lua.
• Knowledge of IP networking and IT security.
• Experience in multi-language application development.
• Experience with Git source control.
• Bilingual (French / English).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and maintain user interface applications for WEB, iOS, Android and embedded HMI.
• Design, develop and maintain automated unit tests.
• Review design, code and test.
• Improve the tool set to produce high quality and secure software (static/dynamic analysis).
• Maintain CI tools infrastructure.
• Understand end‑to‑end solution.
• Identify good‑enough design and code based on business value and timeline.
