Job summary

The role requires maintaining a clean, well-stocked store, rotating stock to keep products fresh, and standing for extended periods with some heavy lifting. Strong communication and independent work are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment and attention to detail.
• WHMIS certification.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to provide a high level of response to customer inquiries.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to stand for long periods and do heavy lifting.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, answer their queries, and assist them when selecting and finding merchandise
• Monitor those in the store to help ensure loss prevention
• Properly display all store products and place them in an organized manner so that customers can find them easily
• Perform checkout processes relating to payments of purchases
• Maintain the overall look of the store and ensure that it is clean, restocked and properly organized
• Rotation of product to ensure the freshness of product
