Job Description

Providing engaging, sincere, personalized service is the hallmark of our Front Office Supervisors. You will lead, train, and recognize a team in support of exceptional guest service.

What you will be doing
  • Consistently offer professional, friendly, and engaging service.
  • Provide day‑to‑day operational support for the Front Desk, Royal Service and Tours departments, ensuring all service standards are followed.
  • Assist MODs with reports as required.
  • Assist in the onboarding of new colleagues and provide initial and continuous training.
  • Train, inspire, develop, and recognize Front Office colleagues.
  • Ensure accurate billing is completed upon guest departure.
  • Assist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful manner.
  • Manage guest room assignments and blockings.
  • Track Front Office supplies.
  • Support company and hotel policies and procedures, including participation in Colleague Engagement Survey (CES), Fairmont Standards (LQA, VOG) initiatives.
  • Promote enrollment in all enrollment goals.
  • Be flexible with work schedules (weekends and holidays as required).
  • Balance operational, administrative and colleague needs.
  • Adhere to all LQA standards set for the department.
  • Consistently uphold a professional and well‑groomed appearance in accordance with the company’s grooming policy.
Qualifications
  • Strong guest service experience required.
  • Minimum of 1 year proven guest services experience.
  • Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management is an asset.
  • Knowledge of Property Management System required.
  • Experience with a hotel loyalty program is an asset.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and guest requests.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Highly organized, results‑oriented, flexible, and able to work well under pressure.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities.
  • Computer proficiency in a Windows environment (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada; the hotel cannot assist with Canadian work authorization.
