REPORTS TO: General Manager

GENERAL SUMMARY:

The Front Office Manager keeps the guest journey running seamlessly, from check-in to check-out (and all the fun in between). You’ll lead the front desk crew, inspire playful yet professional service, and ensure that every interaction is personal and memorable. Beyond daily operations, you’ll collaborate with F&B to ensure a seamless lobby experience, support guest satisfaction goals, and drive financial performance—all while keeping the energy high and the experience unmistakably Moxy.

WHO YOU ARE:
Experience:
  • 3+ years in guest services, front desk, or related areas
  • 2-year degree in Hospitality, Business, or a related field + 2 years’ experience
Preferred Extras:
  • Frontoffice experience with a major hotel brand (Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Accor, Hyatt)
  • Knowledge of front desk policies and systems (FOSSE/LIGHTSPEED, Marriott GXP, Adaco, MSOffice)
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Bilingual (English/French) an asset
  • Experience in hotel opening, pre-opening environments, hotel renovation and brand conversion (a big plus!)
  • Problem-solving mindset with strong communication skills
  • Experience in a unionized environment

  • Deliver a guest experience that's consistent, memorable and fun
  • Be highly visible during peak times—connect with guests, jump in where needed, and lead by example
  • Train, coach, and motivate the front office crew to deliver exceptional service
  • Recognize successes, celebrate wins, and build crew spirit
Guest Satisfaction and Experience:
  • Anticipate guest needs and take proactive steps to resolve issues
  • Know our regulars and personalize their stays
  • Monitor guest satisfaction results and create action plans to improve scores
  • Teach and live the Moxy and Marriott Bonvoy service principles
  • Familiar with Marriott brand GSS, BSA and GXP
People Leadership:
  • Hire, train, and develop crew members with a focus on growth and inclusivity
  • Keep an “open door” policy and actively listen to your crew’s feedback
  • Conduct performance reviews, and one-on-ones to build engagement
  • Apply policies fairly, document properly, and celebrate individual and crew achievements
