Job summary

Forfar Dairy Limited is looking for an enthusiastic team member to join our front-of-house and assist our kitchen team when needed. You will meet diverse customers and learn essential interpersonal and customer-relations skills in a lively restaurant setting.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, taking orders, stocking displays, and aiding the kitchen during peak times. Training will be provided, with an emphasis on delivering a friendly dining experience.

Job description

As an employee of our company, you will be working with a team of people and you will definitely have lots of opportunities to learn alongside these experienced employees. Besides being on the front of house, you will also get to learn some kitchenskills as you assist our kitchen team, when help is needed.

Meeting our varied customers will be your core role and through this, you will be able to learn interpersonal communication skills and customer relational skills.

This position is both fun & exciting as our team is exciting and you get to meet different kinds of people who walked through our doors!

Responsibilities

• Meeting & greeting customers at the front of house
• Help customers find items they are looking for
• Making all the front of house are stocked up with products for customers
• Taking food orders for the restaurant
• Serving all food orders, whether dine-in/take-out
• Ensuring customers have a good dining experience
• Scooping ice-cream, prepare milkshakes or lemonade (except winter season)
• Assist with the kitchen crew to prepare meals, when needed
