Job summary

Northland Restaurant Group is seeking a upbeat Bartender to join our Calgary lounge team. You will welcome guests, craft cocktails, and provide attentive service in a fast-paced, hospitality-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Previous serving experience at a highly competent level is required.
• Basic technical bartending knowledge including standard cocktails and highballs.
• Strong ability to lead conversation in any setting.
• Energetic and positive with leadership and sound judgement.

Responsibilities

• Surprise and delight guests with cocktails, wines, beers, and beverages while creating connection.
• Maintain knowledge and execution of all beverages on menus.
• Deliver full food and beverage service to guests at the bar and pair foods.
• Prepare beverage orders promptly and accurately for servers and guests.
• Keep the bar and lounge clean and organized.

Key Responsibilities

• Surprise and delight guests with unique cocktails, wines, beers, and other beverages, while creating a personalized connection
• Maintain knowledge and strong execution of all beverages featured in our menus
• Deliver full food and beverage services to guests seated at the bar while offering food and drink pairings
• Promptly and accurately prepare beverage orders for servers and guests, providing drinks for all guests in house
• Helping to maintain a clean and organized bar and lounge

Key Requirements
