About The Job

We’re looking for a Front-End Website Developer who is energized by building high-performance, responsive, and accessible web experiences and excited to bring creative designs to life through cutting-edge front-end development. In this role, you’ll play a key part in helping small and medium-sized businesses succeed—while shaping the future of AI for local economies.

Your Impact

As a Front-End Website Developer you'll work with designers, marketers, and developers to:

• Implement pixel-perfect, responsive layouts from Figma/Sketch/Adobe XD designs using modern HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Collaborate on the seamless integration of WordPress templates, custom post types, and APIs while leveraging AI tools to enhance performance, code quality, and accessibility.
• Monitor and optimize website performance using tools like Lighthouse and GTmetrix, ensuring cross-browser/device compatibility and scalable content systems.
• Analyze user behavior through tools like GA4, Google Tag Manager, and HotJar, applying insights to boost engagement and drive conversions.
• Continuously explore emerging front-end standards and AI-powered development tools to innovate and reduce technical debt.

What You Bring To The Table

You bring a strong foundation in front-end web development with experience implementing responsive designs and maintaining high-performance websites. You’re proficient in HTML5, CSS3 (including animations and flex/grid), and JavaScript (ES6+), and have worked with design tools like Figma or Adobe XD. You are comfortable collaborating cross-functionally with marketing, design, and development teams and have experience working within WordPress environments.

Required

• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience translating design files into responsive web pages.
• Familiarity with website optimization tools (e.g., Lighthouse, GTmetrix).
• Understanding of cross-browser and cross-device compatibility best practices.
• Experience with WordPress templates and APIs.
• Basic knowledge of web analytics tools such as GA4 and HotJar.

Preferred / Nice To Have

• Experience using AI-enhanced development tools for code quality, accessibility, or performance optimization.
• Awareness of SEO principles and Core Web Vitals.
• Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG).
• Exposure to structured content systems and scalable design systems.
