Overview

We are seeking a talented Web Developer / Creative Technologist to join our dynamic advertising team. This role involves crafting innovative digital advertising experiences that deliver actionable results for brands and delight our customers. You will work with a creative team to develop advertising campaigns from ideation through to launch, including bespoke branded webpages and custom digital experiences. You will also contribute to developing new digital advertising products, prototyping, and iterating from initial concept to launch.

Responsibilities

• Own the full end-to-end custom web development process and deliverables, from wireframing to production.
• Work closely with both the creative and business teams to develop campaign strategies, use-cases, and technical requirements.
• Present work to peers, product teams, and executives.
• Provide leadership, mentoring, and coaching to your immediate and extended team.
• Partner with program and product managers to identify and assess features for future-scaled product offerings.

Essential Skills

• 5 years of experience in web development across multiple devices, web views, and browsers.
• Strong proficiency in front-end development, including vanilla JavaScript.
• A degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
• Passion for the creative process, understanding of the advertising industry, appreciation for branding, and passion for user experience.

• Proven ability to simplify and distill complex problems into intuitive and elegant experiences.
• Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying organizational levels.
• Experience participating in the full lifecycle of design and development, including ideation, prototyping, development, backwards compatibility, failovers, validation, and user-testing.
• A keen eye for world-class UX across desktop, mobile, tablet, connected TV, and emerging platforms.

Work Environment

This role is part of the Ads Brand Products & Solutions team and requires collaboration with creative, business, and technical teams. The work environment is fast-paced, demanding, and requires a high level of autonomy. This position is temporarily covering paternity leave, with possibilities for extension and conversion.
