Your Role And Responsibilities

As a front-end developer, you’ll be part of a passionate team building new, powerful applications contributing to the evolution of our SaaS platforms. Our team is comprised of user experience designers, visual designers, front-end developers, and design researchers. We are looking for an experienced and passionate front-end developer who can bridge design and engineering to create high performing scalable applications that meet and exceed our users' needs.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

• Solid knowledge of the latest web standards and front-end engineering tools (HTML, CSS, Javascript, Web Components, REST API, GraphQL, Typescript, Node/NPM, Responsive UI)
• Experience with Accessibility (a11y) best practices, tools and techniques such as compatibility with keyboard navigation, screen readers and WCAG AA guidelines
• Experience with localization and internationalization (i18n)
• Experience with front end frameworks such as React/Next.js
• Experience in building user centric and scalable UI frameworks and design systems
• Ability to write clean, testable, and maintainable code.
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in Agile environments

Preferred Technical And Professional Experience

• Knowledge and experience of using micro front-ends and web components to architect framework agnostic applications shells for multi-framework support
• Experience working with cloud platforms (IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience in Golang and back-end service development
• Experience designing and building RESTful APIs and microservices
• A good understanding of Cloud Technologies and end to end delivery of data intensive SaaS products
• Knowledge of CI/CD best practices and tools for improving and maintaining performance and code quality
• Deep understanding of event-driven systems and message queues, including when to apply asynchronous patterns for decoupling and performance
• Ability to evaluate and implement effective caching strategies to reduce latency and improve throughput
