Job summary

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a polite and friendly manner.
• Process all purchase transactions in a timely and efficient manner, including deactivation of merchandise with respect to the EAS Program.
• Promote sponsor programs such as Credit card service, product protection and charity initiatives.
• Assist customers with bagging and loading of merchandise.
• Ensure safe work practices including proper lifting and keeping a clean work area.
• Maintain register security and integrity through diligent cash handling and awareness of surroundings.
• Refer appropriate service items to a Customer Service Manager or Front End Team Lead.
• Educate and support customers on the correct use of self-checkout options.
