Job summary

The Home Depot Canada is hiring for a Front End Associate to guide customers to open registers and assist at assisted checkout. You will help process transactions accurately and timely using the GET checkout process, while delivering friendly, efficient service.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in retail or cash handling, a high school diploma, and a willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends in a busy warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: Highschool Diploma or Equivalent.
• 1 to 2 years Retail or Cash experience an asset.
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, assist during transaction, and thank the customer.
• Demonstrate product knowledge and suggest solutions to meet needs.
• Promote services such as Credit, Extended Warranty, Tool Rental, Pro Services.
• Maintain safety procedures and shrink mitigation during checkout.
