A community support organization in Fort St. John is looking for a Front Desk Worker to ensure safety and security within its supportive housing program. The role requires responding to tenant inquiries, conducting wellness checks, and maintaining communication logs. Ideal candidates should possess a strong service ethic and have prior experience in social services. Compensation ranges from $23.64 to $24.39 per hour.

POSITION PURPOSE SUMMARY:
The Supportive Housing Front Desk Worker will be responsible for ensuring a safe and secure environment in the supportive housing program and responding to tenant inquiries and complaints in accordance with the program plan, contractual agreements, Salvation Army standards, best practices and identified tenant needs. They will report directly to the Program Supervisor.

The performance of the job requires continuously monitoring the environment, frequently interacting with tenants, attentive listening, and moderate attention when recording information.
The Salvation Army's (TSA) Criminal Background Check policy stipulates that a criminal background check is required for all new employees. It must also be completed for volunteers who will be in a position of financial trust or authority. Additional screening is required for employees and volunteers who will work with vulnerable persons.
The target hiring range for this position is $23.64 to $24.02 with a maximum of $24.39.
Placement in the salary range will be based on factors such as market conditions, internal equity, and candidate experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role.
